Before I ever worked in marketing, I worked in hospitality. And it turns out, I brought a whole lot of that world with me.

Hospitality taught me to pay attention to the little things. To anticipate what someone might need before they ask. To make things easier. To create an experience people want to come back to. And most importantly, to make people feel like they matter.

I think really good marketing does a lot of the same things.

Especially in insurance, where most people aren't thinking about what you sell until life gives them a reason to.

They retire. Buy a house. Change jobs. Turn 65. Have a baby. Get a referral from a friend.

And when that moment comes, you don't want to be introducing yourself for the first time.

You want to be the familiar name. The person they've been seeing, hearing from, learning from, and getting to know all along.

That's why I care about the whole picture: your social media, your emails, your blogs, your brand, your client experience, and all those little touchpoints that keep you connected to people long before they need a quote.
